Tamil Short Film 5 Rooba “5 Rooba” is an excellent short film that portrays the mindset of a poor kid who wants to buy a balloon which costs 5 Rupees. A short & crisp short film which travels along with the kid from the time he decides to buy the balloon till he buys it & the following turn of events. Beauty of the short film is how the director has taken a small frame in a kids life & beautifully created a portrait of it. Innocence, poverty, motherly love, desire, joy, hope, loss & lot many emotions encapsulated in a 7minute short film & the best part is the director has succeeded in making the viewer also to travel through these emotions along the kid.
