Instant Dosa

  Ingredients: 

  • 4 cups
  • 4 to 5

  • Rice flour
  • Green Chilies
  • Eggs
  • Jeera
  • Grated Leaves

Note : Salt to taste, water, (oil for making Dosa)

Direction:
·        Mix rice flour and eggs then add water to dosa consistency, i.e., It should be thick enough to be poured (like the consistency for a pancake).
·        Cut green chilies into small pieces. Add them to the rice flour and water mixture. Further more, add jeera, grated coconut, coriander leaves and salt to taste
·        Tastes great when served with Tomato Chutney or Pudina Chutney or Mango Chutney.

  • grated coconut 4 red chilies or 1 tsp. red chili powder
  • bean tamarind
  • flakes garlic
  • groundnuts

Note : Salt to taste

Direction:
1.      Grind all ingredients together to form firm chutney. Use very little water
Note : Chutney spread Can be Used in Masala Dosa and other dosa recipes

  • Bread slices cut fine  
  • Yoghurt beaten well
  • Tomato (finely chopped)
  • Mustard and cumin seeds ( each)
  • Turmeric powder and chili powder
  • Green chilies finely chopped
  • Curry leaves
  • Oil

Note : add Salt to taste and finely chopped coriander leaves to garnish

Direction:

  1. Soak the bread pieces in yoghurt for about 10 minutes. Keep aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan and toss in the mustard seeds followed by the cumin seeds. Fry till the seeds splutter fully.
  3. Add the curry leaves, chopped green chilies and tomatoes. Stir fry on medium level for about 3 minutes or till the tomatoes are cooked and soft.
  4. Add the bread, salt, turmeric and chili powders. Mix well. Cover and keep for some time before serving. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
  5. Serve hot with: Onion Chutney
